Team Fortress 2 Player Types

Includes all 9 Team Fortress 2 player types:

  • Demoman
  • Engineer
  • Heavy
  • Medic
  • Pyro
  • Scout
  • Sniper
  • Soldier
  • Spy

All of them have their health and speed based on TF2, though slightly modified to fit Blockland better. Spy does not have anything special, it does not look like enemy team player. Same goes for scout, no double jumping. The medic has slowly regenerating health, script made by Space Guy. There is a setting in Server Control to enable/disable third person. (Force 1st person) Changing that setting requires the server to be restarted for the changes to be shown.

The Pyro should only have 175 health.
Giving the Medic a repair rate might be nice.
The Engineer, Spy and Sniper datablocks all seem to be the same. Replacing them with TF2 Standard player or similar might work better.

do you get all the wepons for the classes with the tf2
All of the classes have unique speeds. The medic, for instance, is the second fastest, after the scout. (duh)

I won't be using this anytime soon because the scouts running speed sucks, that ruins the point of him being an intelligence-grabber. And the heavy seems a bit too fast, the pyro has too much health, and so on.

I reduced the scout's speed because it felt too fast for my taste. I also increased the heavy's speed because it was annoyingly slow, but the pyro is identical to the one in TF2. I might chage these, ma

I suggest you change the health values to be scaled so that standard 125 health in TF2 is equivalent to 100 in Blockland, that way the existing weapons work on players a bit better.

Also, the Medic's health doesn't regenerate like in the game.

Why no double jumping for the Scout?
Now I have to use the Double-Jump player, with regen health >:(

The double jump comes with the scout weapons.

In TF2, Sandman DISABLES the Double-Jump!

Have you ever played TF2? With the latest updates the Sandman does not disable the double jump anymore.

Great thanks to naturemon for reporting a bug with the demoman playertype. It can no longer use third person.

Each class should have a certain amount of slots, like different for each one.
