Gamemode Zombie

Zombie mod in the style of the "Left 4 Dead" game.
Director:
Due to the way blockland works, you'll need to increase your schedule limit, which is located in the advanced config part of the create server menu to ensure the director doesn't freak out. Most of you already have this pretty high anyway.
Director Example:

For a bit of help when making maps for the director, after placing all the zombie spawns, you can use /hidezombiespawns to save you some time.
Includes zombies, ammo mod, different zombie classes, and other crap I'm too tired to add right now.
Main new things are:
Smoker
Witch
You can use any player
--------
Any non jetting player can melee.
Added safehouse item, but it doesn't save properly yet.
Lots of bug fixes, but probably lots of new bugs as well.
Thanks to space guy for making the scripts for the pill and pipe bomb, as well as anybody for making the great pipe bomb model. Also huge thanks to nitram for writing the amazing apfinder.

Found this in my BL console when downloaded, ?
Im not blaming you, but my Single player minigame doesent work. game shuts down right when i press "edit minigame".
If you haven't already done so, update your copy of tdm if you have it.
Thank you so much! now i want to have nightmares from your new sounds on Zombies.
There's really only supposed to be one tank spawned at any given time, I'm sure if someone had many of them around the sound would get annoying as hell, but one at a time the sound works well.
You do have a few seconds to fight back once you realize you're being pulled though.

I am pretty sure if you look up L4D2 on wiki or google it will show you the zombies, but here are the new ones:
-Charger (the thing I thought was the tank)
-Wandering witch
-Jockey
-Spitter
-Female boomer
But it would be cool if Rotondo made them.

p.s. you should make a update that includes Left 4 Dead 2 items\zombies before others do
TDM is better but this is near enough as good a gamemode as we can get!

-The zombies walk into a wall hoping it will get you
-The zombies spawn 0.00000001 secound after killing them
And how I Want it to be:
-So they run after you all the time, if not they get shot at by another survivor
-that they is smatr enough to NOT walk randomly into a wall
-That the zombies DONT spawn 0.00000001 secounds after they get killed
On the instant-respawn thing, place zombie spawns everywhere you think that they should spawn, type /hidezombiespawns, start a minigame with the director on, restart minigame and you'll see zombies automaticly spawning. And as a bonus, you'll get hordes too. :P

i am aware of that but compared to the better scripting and everything NOW its just seem... not as advanced as to say it...
i do like the melee and the ammo with downed stuff but ai intellegence is just what bugs me most... sry

Those are some good statistics.
ZAPT is just taking it to a level thats too complex. This keeps things nice and simple without making it pointless.

ZMod has much better models, script, and a director alongside that Iban probably stole. Also filled with custom recorded sounds and physics for enhanced gameplay.
You have too many mods filling up the prefs, I have this problem too.
Try disabling some mods that you know have prefs.

If you ask me Rotondo should have worked with Iban and made a boss gamemode. I mean if your going for a L4D style then I recommend ZAPT being it does the whole safehouse thing. But if you just want an endless seige of zombies for a castle defence or maybe a survial then Gamemode Zombie is best. Also I know most of you guys like ZAPT because its more like L4D. But dont flame just because something isnt as customizable or realistic as you want.

I've deleted this add-ons from my mods, but everyone who dies on my server is still dropping ammo! How do I stop this?
Droping ammo has nothing to do with Gamemode_Zombie.
It is T+T2 that is causing player sto drop ammo. If you go to the Server Control, there are prefs to make it so that they don't drop ammo on deaths.
Again, that problem has nothing to do with L4b.
You CAN'T be the director. The director is an A.I. Who chooses what zombies spawn when, when the horde is activated, ect. It is impossible to play as the director.

Problems:
This:
1. If you get a certain distance away from a zombie spawn point it sets the vehicle to none.
2. Lamer faces and avatars and that
3. Random colors
4. Not enough events.
ZAPT:
1. Zombies can kill some bricks even if brick damage is off
2. I cant get a tank spawn to operate right
3. I cant get safehouses to work right. (

ZAPT is impossible to figure out and cannot be "customized" to the right levels.
Firstly this mod is pretty great. Been using it a long time.
Secondly, You really have to update.
Most people are flipping out when weapons aren't working because Friendly Fire is off, even when they arent using zombies. Also the CityRPCore doesnt work with this since you can't access minigame settings when using it.
Same with Ibans CityRP mod.
I reccomend making Friendly Fire On by default, and those who don't want it can turn it off. That way you can still murder people on cityRPs while still using

That's because this is an OLD game mode.
It was meant for Blockland versions 7-20 (revisions 1361-1511).
Blockland version 20 revisions 1690-1701 are no longer compatible this type of game mode.

Gamemode zombie's zombies gets killed much faster than before,they take much more damage.

The zombies cannot spot a player except in panic mode,when ''Always spot players'' is on or when they are shot,otherwise,they do not try to chase the enemy player.
