Adventure Tools

This toolpack includes 4 separate tools to make eventing an Adventure map easier.

  • Utilize - Use this as an alternative onActivate if you have a case where you need two.
  • Pick Up - Use this for picking up keys, coins, anything that would be logical.
  • Place - Use this for setting down things, like putting valve onto a steam pipe you need to fix.
  • Examine - Use this to enrich your story world, such as being able to examine a book, or to add searching through things.

How are these useful?
These tools remove the use of varlinks for multiple functions on one brick. Now you can easily allow players to Examine something and or Pick Up something on one brick while allowing the player to decide which they choose.
Recommended Add-Ons:
  • VCE
  • SetPlayerTransform
  • SetPlayerCamera
  • Multiple Slot Playertypes

You must enable the Sword for this to Work!

It looks useful, but I'd probably only use a few of these at a time. Most RPGs I see are combat-oriented, or set in an era with alot of war. It'd be hard to swing a sword when examining something.

I'd rate it the full 5 stars, but I have a major pet peeve with this. Why does it do damage? I want to use this for my own unique gamemode, but players are capable of killing NPCs by using the tools, which I don't want. Please remove this as soon as you can.
