Textures tagged "Recolor!" can be easily recolored using the Environment Editor. Though all textures can be colored, these are specifically designed for it.
The light gray checker pattern is aligned to the brick grid but it gets slightly off alignment very far away from the world center.
Hodototman told me about it.
