Slayer - Capture the Flag

The goal is pretty self-explanatory: Capture the Flag.

Steal flags from enemy bases and return them to your own flag to score.

To use a different type of flag:
Go into the Advanced tab and find the option, [CTF | Flag Type]. Change this to "Briefcase Flag", for example, and then restart the server.

Just like every other Slayer gamemode, this WORKS ON DEDICATED SERVERS without the host being present.

Flag models by:

  • Standard Gravity Cat
  • Pole .:Taboo:.
  • Briefcase Demian
  • Fumbi Ball .:Taboo:.
  • Deathball Skull Demian

Hpw do i set the spawns for this game mode?

To set teams spawns:
Plant the "Team Spawn Point" brick and paint it the team's color.

Flags:
Plant the "Flag Spawn" brick and paint it the team's color

You need to be on a team. You also can't pick up your own flag or flags that don't belong to a team.

hey Greek, once again, very nice job, not just with this one though, ALL of your things/add-ons. you have come a long way into this, starting off simple, then to the big stuff, such as Slayer. i also have a question, how do i set a briefcase flag instead of the default?

The option for the Briefcase flag is in the Advanced tab. After you change it you need to restart your server!

Even though I set a minigame, and put the two flag spawns, it still won't work! The flag will just not spawn! Somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong! + I restarted blockland and everything...

For some reason it crashes when I try to start a CTF slayer minigame... any way to fix this?

Try going to your Blockland folder and deleting the file called cache.db.

Erm, for some reason, when I try to pick up the flag, it doesn't do anything. It won't pick it up. I'll go straight through it and nothing will happen.

Go to config/server/Slayer and delete these:
config_preload.cs
config_last.cs

If that doesn't work, please send me your console log!

nether can i ive had this problem for ages tried everything only sometimes i am able to pickup flags but thats out of pure luck i dont know what makes it work

Make sure that "Neutral Flags Only" is unchecked in the menu. Also, make sure you are in a team.

5) Make sure you color the spawn brick the EXACT SAME COLOR as the other team <<IMPORTANT
6) Make sure that "Neutral Flags Only" is disabled
7) Make sure that "Allow Neutral Flags" is enabled

ALL of these conditions must be met for you to pick it up.

its defiantly not one of those but it could be something when loading flag bricks from a save im not sure

Well, this is a problem with something you are doing, not the mod. Plenty of other people have been using it with no issues.

Also, there is no issue with loading bricks from a save.

Slayer fails to show me the different kinds of flags.
I have reported this issue. It's not too severe, but why doesn't it?

It works after two resets. Not one. Well, for me.

I want to use onCPCapture events, but when I take a flag back to my team's flag spawn, it will say "recovered the flag", am I doing something wrong?

When you take a flag back to your base it will say "YourName returned the Red flag.

The Fumbi Ball is always purple. Why doesn't it change to the team color?

I've tried enabling and disabling Nuetral Flags but i still can't pick them up. I've tried putting nuetral flags around, aswel but they do nothing.

Well after doing that, sometimes i can pick up flags after so many mini-game resets. Other than that they still just sit there.

Something is interfering on your end. This has nothing to do with T&T ammo.
