Invisibility Watches Set

A set of three Invisibility Watches based off VALVE's Team Fortress 2 Spy equipment. When picked up, they replace other watches in the inventory and use a special Pirate Cannon-style charge bar, allowing any player type to cloak and become invisible to others. The cloaking effect appears in your team or shirt colour and your name is invisible except at very close range while cloaked.

Invisibility Watch
This will be the last time you see me...
- 10-second cloak
- Gains 40% cloak on making a kill

Cloak and Dagger
George Washington's greatest regret was not being Permanently Invisible. Now you can succeed where the man who invented America failed!
- Cloak only drains while moving
- Cloak regenerates slowly when not moving, even while cloaked
- "Stab" attack by clicking while cloaked, freezes you but instantly kills from any angle

Dead Ringer
Hey, look, you shape shifted into a dead guy!
- 7-second cloak, only usable at full charge
- Cloak activates and drops a fake corpse when attacked
- Take 90% less damage while cloaked
- 'Revenge' kill for killing your attacker

Suggestion for next version:
Make preferences in server control for admins to set how long everything lasts for, and if you can hold more than one at a time.

I like how the dead ringer has the gauge on the watch. Can this be like this for the others as well?

It's possible to do with the Dead Ringer because it only starts at maximum charge - for the others, you can cloak at any time so the gauge would start in the wrong position or I'd have to go through a million ">1%? No >2%? No" states to find where to start the animation. (Which may run over the limit of 32 states)

You could just do something clever like using 10 bars. That would only require 10 states.

It might need some more to set which state you go to at the start, too. As far as I know, it requires six control states to change between four end states.

I kinda wish you have to click to use the normal watch/cloak and dagger sometimes when I scroll threw my Weapons it cloaks me and I have to wait a second before I can pick my weapon

Well, it's supposed to wait about a fifth of a second before cloaking you - if you switch in that time then it doesn't. I've found that on

Otherwise, I don't understand how you can kill someone while you are cloaked. (Invisibility Watch: 40% cloak function. Does it give you more energy while in inventory?)

Yes, it's when you kill somebody with the item in your inventory. It's supposed to be like the Watch being able to pick up metal/ammo drops, except Blockland doesn't have an ammo system.

Yeah, that's for the new 'Knife' part since it uses the sound and whichever model you've selected. It doesn't have to be enabled, just installed. Also Emote_Critical is needed so the Knife itself runs, I'll go add that.

Not a bug. That's the entire point of the item - instead of dying from things like that, damage is reduced by 90% and you cloak. If you want falling out of the map to kill you then use onPlayerTouch -> Player -> Kill events on the fl

the Dead Ringer is my favorite by far, the only thing is that the sound when the invisibility runs out is very loud and im often found from far away, then sniper out of nowhere...

The cloak and dagger is the best for being hidden really since you can stand in an out the way corner and be hidden until you get accidentally shot.

Dead ringer is best overall :D

You can stand on any object and get shot while holding the DR, and almost never die. But if you use a cloak you are plainly able to die. So try to hold the DR as you run away or try to hide, genraly try to use it for non-deah purporses or assassinations.

Why do we have to get the Critical Hit Emote and TF2 Butterfly Knife?

I think it's just a silly way of getting us to download your stuff.
