It's good for more than just the Half-Life series. Obstacle courses (prying down barricades), zombie DM's, etc. It's a good and realistic melee weapon.

Dang, when i picked this up a load of head crabs fell on me...

there is only ONE more thing that should be made as a BL add-on to make a decent Half-Life game: Ragdoll Death. Not Tumble On Death. but actual ragdoll physics like in Half-life

To do that, Badspot would have to reconfigure the entire Torque engine, and I'm sure he's not going to do that.
