A core for an RP server. This is required for other RP Content mods.

Information
If you're planning on making an RP server, this is something for you. By adding the required things for an RP, like saving, experience and various commands, this is a piece of cake for a person with not so much experience. Just download, enable, and start a game and you are set.

- /Suggest [text] - Sends a suggestion to the host
- /Stats - Check your stats
- /Stats [id/name] - Super Admin only : See a players current stats
- /ToggleCapsFilter - Super Admin only : Toggle the All-Caps filter
- /ToggleReport - Super Admin only : Toggle report function
- /ToggleSuggest - Super Admin only : Toggle suggest function
- /ToggleLocalChat - Super Admin only : Toggle local chat
- /SetLocalChatRange - Super Admin only : Sets the range of how far a person will see you chat and your name.

Also, I saw that I accidently didn't added the anti-CityRP-command function. Be prepared for an update when I'm back.

You activates it with RTB, and then starts an Internet game. Dedicated or non-dedicated. No minigame settings you have to setup.

If you don't want to wait for RP Jobs, then the only option you have is to make your own extension that changes the controls in MiniGame, or knows where to spawn.

Change it to whatever number you want. Go to config/server/RP_Core/prefs.cs to find all variables.

And that little "/*:m" you noticed is that Ephi hasn't fixed the BBCode for RTB yet. It will be fixed in the future...

I'm not able to get the pref screen up. I use Adobe Reader to open the prefs but it just won't let me i did everything you said and it still dosent work

Else, remove it, and start BL again to replace it with a new one.

I think you should make a prefrence in the server controls for toggleing this on or off.

1. This add-on does not interfere with banning controls. Check other add-ons before blaming me.
2. That would be a problem, but possible. I could look into it. Even if it is unnecessary. You choose to host, and nothing else.

Whats wrong with the core? I spawn with hammer etc but after a few hundred milliseconds they get deleted.

they dont get banned they get perminently killed and i can tell it might be the scripts cause when they were disabled, people resurrected, but when i had enabled just 1 of he scripts i had lost the ability to resurrect back to the spawn.

Grant is not necessary. If you want experience or money, please start learn how to script.

I might add transaction later, but you could have said it in RP Money instead.

I'm only going to post this hear, not on all the RP mods, but it effects thems all.

I can't update! I download them 100 times, and everytime I start my game it asks me to update them! It's Uber anoyying please help me.

This is a base code for RP extensions that exist here:

It is recommended to have at least one extension enabled, due that it would be boring otherwise.

Ok sorry If i wasent clear befor, I found help for most of the problems.
The 2 remaining ones are.
1. Im having dificulty with the admin job, and host I want that job thats Admin only how can i get this?
2. Why dosent it cost money to pland bricks?

The admin job can only be reached through the console or save files. In other words, figure out it yourself.

To make it cost money when you plant a brick is easy. In RP Money is a variable that can change this.
$RP::pref::server::brickCost = 1;
If you change it to something above 0, it will cost that much for each brick.

This is just adding what is needed to play an RP, then it is up to your own imagination to make it a real RP.

If you want an admin job you need to make an admin only script. I don't know how RP core works though so this is only an example:
(The variables are just examples, this is how it worked on CityRP)

That's how it worked on CityRP(G), I don't know how it would work in RP. Also, there's a lot more to it then what I typed. It's just an example, and

The job is hidden, meaning that currently you cannot choose that job anyway. But it is good to have an extra check too.

whenever its enabled and i join my server, i can join the mini, load datablocks, etc., but when i get right at the end of the objects loading, it says i joined the mini, but i dont ever spawn, and i get stuck at the objects loading screen... HALP???

This is awsome, i can host all the time, and i can [maybe] help with anything you need McTwist. I was an experinced BYOND C++ and LUA+ coder a year ago, but it all came crashing down like a meteor later in 2008 after my friend hired another coder. And i looked back at that game... nothing but the parts i coded work.

There's a bug in Saver v1.4, that does not save you correctly. This will be fixed in next update.

You will automatically join the RP when creating it. Also, this works the same as usual, but you can toggle it so you can do whatever you want with it without having to RP.

There's although a possibility to have a variable where you may toggle making it automatically start when the server starts. Although, I I see no problem of you calling one command so you can start the RP.

This feature of toggling the RP is good if you only want to build, but not RP.

I agree with Furling. An extra command every time you boot the server is just tedious. The old way where everything started automatically was better.

However, having an /endRP command could be useful. I wish you would let the RP start automatically like before, but make it possible to turn it on and off after it has started.

Those jobs that does not show up is hidden. That means that they can only be achieved through admin command, or promotion.

Then I don't know why it freezes. If it is one minute, then you have problem with RP Time. If it is less or more than that, then I have no idea what it can be.

Some also does not show up if you don't have the required mod for it. This was before a bug.

If the game freezes, there could be one add-on that is causing RP Content to freeze due that add-on is using some function or such that breaks it.

Report and Suggest can be toggled through both RTB prefs and an another command. Then there's advanced commands that is specified for each mod.

Sorry to say, but your update made it worse. Not only does my money and EXP. not go up every hour, but now I don't even have exp. and money there. The little "$" is there along with "EXP." Just no numbers.

@Mctwist: RP_Weather doesn't spam the console. The only thing it says in the console is the day type and weather type upon being changed. And the console spam Posh is referring to is:

and it clearly says RP_Core. Error on line 280 of user.cs in RP_Core. i get the same spam. I asked you to fix this before Mctwist along with

I just don't have so much time anymore. And due next update will be a big change, I'm not sure when it will be out. I could test quickly, and fix those errors, but I will only edit the download so you have to re-download it yourself. I will message in this comment when it's out.

Edit: No, really. It is already fixed, but you need to re-download it. Also, if there's still anything wrong, then you have to find the problem, because I just don't have time for this.

Alright. I found the bug. Even thought it shouldn't be a bug. What I changed:
RP_GetStatVarFromData to RP_GetStatVarFromData2.
Some engine function is using it already, so it demands mine to return void.

Edit: This means you have to re-download the file. I am not going to force-update it.

Once you get a high exp level, the RP is practically over for you. And it's VERY easy to get $$$ and exp. So THAT means people just buy/spawn guns with not a dent in their pocket and BOOM! A new DM!

There never was a minigame settings. If you need to change anything, use RTB.
