Portal Sound Pack - Level 1

12 Portal sounds directly from Portal. These are the things GLaDOS says in the first part of the game. Can be very useful for Portal builds, and some sounds can just be for the lol if you want...

More sounds will come soon! I am looking forward to covering most of the sounds.

Suggestion: When more packs come (which they will) I suggest only have about 3 on at a time, so you don't have a huge sound list, and a long download

NOTE: Some people may be having the "renamed" issue. If you get this, please go into the folder and delete a file named "namecheck.txt" Thanks!

It will not let me download it anyway, it says somethings like: add-on has been renamed to ''Sound_Portal_Uberpack_Level1'' - will not execute

I don't see why that is happening, but heres how it should be fixed:

Go into the folder, and there should be a file, "namecheck.txt" or something like that. Delete it.

I had to change the name, because RTB only excepts sound files by with "Sound_" but I do't see how a namecheck.txt got into there.

I am only downloading because you used an "Über U" correctly in the word "Über".

I can't in the next packs because the console doesn't understand that word, and can lead to some issue with it changing Ü to "_" which sucks...

And its called a U umluat ^.^ Ü

Hold ALT and Press "0220" on the Numpad when Numlock is on :D

awesome. i always liked the sounds from portal. they sound so awesome and some of them even sound like common sounds, like the hum of a starship or a red alert siren.

Well, i went to the titanium's first :b.
Too bad this pack isn't compatible with The titanium's, because then we could have his good ripped sounds, and these GLaDOS voices!

Hurry up with that normal sounds pack >:c

Do you have the line form GLaDOS: "There IS such a place as Android Hell, and you WILL be sent there at the first sign of defiance."? that's my fave line >:3

Mix "Please proceed into the next test chamber" and the line with "android hell" for "Please proceed into android hell"! lol!
