MAS Swarm Fighter

The Swarm Fighter is a very fast, maneuverable (and weak) aircraft created by MAS Inc.
It is designed mainly for dog fights, but can also provide light air cover for ground forces.
The four machine guns on the front make quick work of most other fighter aircraft.

Unfortunately, do to weight restrictions, the MAS scientists had to cut down on armor, making the Swarm Fighter very weak. Swarm Fighter vs Swarm fighter dogfights can get interesting.

Updates will be many, but not immediate.
Feel free to comment and give feedback.

Flying Tips:
Try to keep it steady when flying, especially when attack ground targets.
Also if you plan to attack ground targets, I suggest you get to a high altitude to make it easier to strafe/dive bomb targets.

Fun Facts:

-MAS Inc. stands for "Mechanical Attack Systems Incorporated."
-The Swarm Fighter is powered by two micro nuclear generators, one in each engine.
-The original intention of the Swarm fighter was to swarm at and destroy any unfriendly bombers.

mate... thats the best plane that i have seen so far... i love the looks on this addon. hope to see more addons like this soon. actually i have a request. can you make a napalm flamethrower or something similar? if you can please let me know

I love that you specified that it could provide cover for troops on the ground. I have yet to find a plane that does that well. That, and a transport. The Hercules (I think made by Strato on the Blockland forums) is way too bulky for any take off short of a really long runway, the blue Warhammer plane (I think it's called the Sky-something-or-other) is too big and kinda hard to fly (also on Blockland Forums), and the Pelican is okay, but also a little bulky.

Hey, Army Man, this is GREAT. And @ Hyperbob and Link52pro, u guys make an awsome point. But the Flamer and like Strato's impact damage is great, but dont make it took much damage, because i never did like immediate explosion of the plane. Take flying through a small space, for instance. You have a 9/10 chance of hitting a wall slightly and exploding. Now what a bummer, but awsomely, you might accept the requests. And that, my man, is a good publisher :D I dont totally expect this stuff to be made, they're

Alright, first off, army man, this is a very good add-on, compared to a lot of recent add-ons... anyway, i do like the plane, it is usefull, a tad overpowered, but usefull nonetheless. Although i still think it is being blown FAR out of scale here. it is not, nor will it ever be "The best plane on BL", as many noobs are fond of calling it. it is not better than stratos's vehicles either, at least in my opinion, Stratos had the difficult concept of making realistic vehicles good for BL, and he succeded, trem

It's really opinion based, because, I don't really like strato's planes, I like Kaja's planes the best (Biplane and Stunt plane) I like the swarm fighter I'd say it's excellent, but that is just me.

hey im not saying its bad but yu should put a gunner seat in so the ddriver can steer without worrying about getting attacked and i think yu should make more add-ons this one is awesome nut the best but still awesome and i have heard that someone made a MAS wep

In update: Edited model (reduced polys)
Window lighting no longer goes really dark.
Bullets do more damage/are faster
Max speed of Swarm Fighter reduced slightly.
Turn speed reduced.
Health reduced.
Added after burners (jet stream trail)
Modified tire/hover effects.
Modified final explosion.
Final explosion is now a tad more deadly.
Player now has less time to jump out from the time it burns, to the time it explodes.
The minimum PlayerRunOver speed increased.

MAS Swarm Fighter v2 to v3:

- Updated the maneuverability and speed. Please send me feedback on this.
- Made the ground smoke effect more visible.
- Cleaned up the model for less lag.
- Window can now only be seen from the outside. (fixed visibility issues)

Do you mean you can't mount it?
That should not happen and I am not having that issue on my server. Another add-on could be causing the issue. If you are able, please send me your console.log file after you load a game session with the Swarm Fighter enabled.
