Builder Mode

Have you ever been running a deathmatch with several players, but you discover a flaw in your map, or you want to fix up a problem or two in it? Do you not want to end the minigame, resetting everyone's scores, ending their killing streaks, and making them rejoin? Now, this is no longer a problem. When running your minigame, simply type /buildermode. You will be given the 3 default tools for building, your bricks and paints will be enabled, you will be using a normal playertype, and you will be protected from damage! Exiting the server will still end the minigame, and you will not be able to end or edit the minigame while in this mode. To return to the minigame, simply type the command again. Note that you will be respawned when reentering the minigame. This is to prevent cheating by getting to normally unreachable areas or getting easy items.

Warning: May cause cue balls.

But what if somebody hits their build or paint key? Then you have people who are freely able to build and you are unaware until they've done something stupid with those rights.

Well, you can't be sure of anything when dealing with add-ons. I remember once when I was testing a ski race add-on, I was mauled by a polar bear. That doesn't happen normally in Blockland, so I assumed it was a bug in the script. Trust me, a teeny blockhead versus a full size polar bear is not an easy fight. It took a good two blockonukes to bring down. When dealing with buildermode, you should always be prepared for a cueball attack.

I run a zombie defence, and I love this addon because only I can build without everyone else weapon spamming! (I also like how they have no idea how to get into buildermode!) awesome!

Before you hate on decent add-ons, please consider that if you enabled building, Eveyone would be able to.

This is a really good idea, I like it, although, you could do this with building enabled and make certain it's impossible to get to an open space, and therefore impossible to build without at least build trust. Still, I like it, 5/5.

Hold on, Im a bit confused. First off, this is a great idea, especially the idea of taking no damage during building. Second, what is a 'cue ball'? And third, how do you, after going to into builder mode, can you come back into your own game? Do you suicide, or is there another command for that?

For some reason I enjoy throwing a joke onto all of my add-ons, consisting of a warning of either something that is not an event, or is completely prepostorous. A cue ball is the white ball used in the game of pool. I believe I had to explain this before.

As for leaving builder mode, you just retype the command. I will update the description.

Only the person running the minigame can use builder mode. Other people can just leave the game to build. Of course, assuming the admin has the host's trust, they could leave the minigame and do this anyway.

Ephi really needs to get that comment reply thing in place. There is virtually no chance that the guy I'm replying to will ever come back and read my reply to him, and thus, he will remain in the dark.

I got the default mod and your right!

So this mod is useless! The default minigame mod has the same thing! It stays up even when the person who created it leaves! Plus its on RTB..

or you can get default minigame add-on and leave the minigame without ending minigame.....this was a waste of time...
