The Classic Checkers DM from v8 returns in blockland v21, with its own gamemode, and with lava.
Fight your enemies by either throwing them off the map using the recoil of the Super Mega Death Spear (Warning: just a normal Spear) or use it's extreme destruction power to break the blocks under your opponents to make them fall dramatically into lava and destroy them and their corpse(s).
Hahahah. Hope you cringed at that.
Anyways, I prefer the one with the floating platforms one where you have to shoot the core under the platform and it explodes, dropping whoever is standing on it.
Regardless, I'm pretty sure that one is custom, so this is an EXELLANT alternitive for the general populus
