IRC 2 Chat

How to set up
Go to the options > controls, and scroll down until you see IRC to Chat.
Set the toggle and message hud open / close toggle to your liking.

How to use
Open your message hud and type a message (this sends a message to the main window (#rtb))
Type /pm username msg to send a player a pm
Also, to reply quickly to your last conversation, type /r with a space so (/r ) and it will format it for you, it's that easy!

As an alternative, you could just use the default IRC which is pretty much the same thing but doesn't require typing commands first.

On topic: Nice! Maybe add in a toggleable message that notifies you if you have any PMs you haven't responded to? (Excluding the main channel, of cousre..)

I think this was a great idea, although I personally do not see much trouble in just pressing the button that I already have binded to the IRC. However I can see how to some people this can be really useful!

Another suggestion apart from the one I already gave you: Normal chat on the left, IRC chat on the right. (If it is possible)

There is an addon that seperates the chat from the kills. It put the kills on the right. So I don't think it would be possible.

I made a new IRC channel. To join my channel, double click a random person and type: /join #RTB2

That isn't a glitch, it's intended by all IRC clients so that if you make a new chatroom (there is no such thing as an empty chatroom - chatrroms delete themselves when everyone leaves) you become OP so you can manage your chatroom.
