No. This mod is not like all those other default minigames where you create it once, and that's it. This adds the possibility to create a normal minigame through the MiniGame GUI, and then set it as default. This makes it possible for you to do normal actions with the minigame while you are in it, and go to an another minigame if you'd like. You can even leave the server and keep the minigame up like nothing have happened. It also comes with a modification to the default MiniGame GUI with two extra buttons making so you don't have to bother about the commands.

Commands

  • /SetDefaultMiniGame - Sets the default minigame if you are owner of the current one. Admin only.
  • /RemoveDefaultMiniGame - Removes the current default minigame. Admin ony.

Can you leave the minigame but still be on the server? If so, cool. Plus if you have the other default minigame addon, /setdefaultminigame is already in use, what do you do about that?

@Funnelcakes - This add-on does not work with other Default MiniGames, so I recommend disabling, or removal of those add-ons.

McTwist, you have impressed me once again :D Thanks! I need this for, pretty much everything I do on my server! Do you think you can make something, that when creating a server, there is a check button to make it dedi or not? I don't like going through files and stuff. And you could manage your own add-ons without all of them being enabled and you have to delete all the uneeded ones.

This is incredibly useful and now i have the advantage of having a minigame up without having to shut it down when i leave my server.

McTwist, so this is a combination of the mods Default Minigame and Dedicated Minigame. Useful, if in that case, the dedicated feature works with spawn bricks. 5/5 if it works with spawn bricks 0/5 if it doesn't.

@Boomerangdog - First, it is not possible to create a dedicated server from a client. Although, it is possible to create a client from a server, but there is a lot of hax and luck to make that happen.
Secondly, RTB already have a group add-on feature. You should try it out. Also, I don't have that much add-ons yet. There if other people that have the double.

No. This lets you change the settings from the default minigame, and therefor it will be listed as normally in the minigame list.

The /setdefaultminigame command - isn't it the same as the Mandatory Mingame /setdefaultminigame command? Wouldn't this, you know, be a little confusing for the consumers of these 2 awesome Add-Ons?

Kalphiter is quite right in saying that this script fails. It does not work properly, and has many major flaws such as not allowing players to use vehicles after the host has left the server. This script does not function as a good dedicated minigame script.

McTwist please fix all issues or remove the 'dedicated minigame' part of the script.

I've polished up my own copy of dedicated minigame, and I am releasing it soon.

If you would've just left my perfectly working add-on alone I wouldn't have cared. You had about 8 months to realize that it already existed, and that's unacceptable.

You messed with my add-on, now I'm messing with yours. Besides, mine was actually tested and it works fine.

Works perfect, no errors on my game. A lot better than Kalphiter's first version, because of the dedicated part. I love the GUI, and doesn't force admins to join at first.

Huge Problem!

Whenever I leave my minigame I created people can not go into any vehicles or pick up spawned weapons. It says "This item/vehicle is not part of the minigame".

Please fix, and many thanks!

nvm it fixed, must have been no ping jacking it up because whenever i set one, it said, "gpg5 has set a default minigame" not "Default MiniGame Set"

When im hosting an server with default minigame enabled when i stop hosting the server and forgot to disable default minigame when i start new one it says ''rem default''

Found fix for default minigame!

Say /setdefaultminigame after starting the mini, then go to minigame page and click remove default minigame and click set default minigame again. it worked for me, and i hope this helps.

Im not having any issues with it except that whenever I leave the server, it doesn't stay a dedicated minigame; it does some strange thing where it loses its teams and turns to a team deathmatch.

It's broken!!!! When ever you have a server with people on it and you make a default minigame there is EXTREME lag! If you Rem Defualt, the lag goes away. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Slayer gamemode was the worst fucking idea ever. You can't use mods. For TDMs use this with the non-slayer Team Deathmatch mods.
