Ever wanted to talk to your friend in another server, or even talk to people on multiple servers at one time?. Well now you can with this ground breaking discovery "XServer", you can talk to friends across multiple servers, and even share those epic "lolz" moments!.

But that's not all!, DarkLight, and McTwist teamed up to make this mod fun, and safe to use at the same time. With hours and hours of coding into XServer you are to be sure no one can just barge into your server chats without a chat password. We also implanted cross-server muting which will allow host to mute players on their server which they do not want to hear. Plug those spammers right up!

We also include a GUI which makes finding, creating and joining chats a breeze. This ground breaking discovery "XServer" will change how you can connect to your friends. Give it a try, you will feel more social again!

Port 1212 is required to be open.

Commands without GUI:
-----------------------------

/CreateChat [pass] - [Super Admin] Opens the chat to be accessed from other servers with a certain password.

/DestroyChat [pass] - [Super Admin] Closes the chat to be connected. Password for security.

/OpenChat [ip] [pass] - [Super Admin] Opens a chat specified IP and a password.

/CloseChat [ip] - [Super Admin] Closes your connection to the specified IP.

/ForceCloseChat [ip] - [Super Admin] Closes both connections to the IP.

/MuteServerPlayer [name] - [Super Admin] Mutes a player on other servers from being displayed in your server.

/UnmuteServerPlayer [name] - [Super Admin] Unmutes a player on other servers so you can see their messages again.

first you need to enter a password at the very top of the gui, then press create chat. then you get the server list. enter the servers specific password and press request chat.

@Hyperbob (and anyone else with this question):

This is different from the normal RTB IRC because the chat from other servers appears in your normal chat, so you don't have to have the IRC window to chat.

But my question is, is there like a /whisperServer command so you can send a message only to your server or another specified one?

V2 idea (Sorry for double post) if you're on another server, while running a dedicated server, you can send a message to your server without using console?

If you have activated the chat on that server, yes. Also, you need to activate the other way around too, so that server can connect to the server where you are. Else, it wont work.

Last night, I tried to connect to a friends server and we tried to connect to each others' servers at the same time but it didn't work. Besides, what's port 1212?

Whoa for a sec I thought you meant you could cross 2 servers, with 64+ players, but as the page loaded I'm like "then that would be fail binned, even if it was possible". but anyway I love it 5/5

@breadboy yes there is IRC, but what if somone is on your dedi sever, and your on another sever? how do you mute them or know what there doing using IRC? so this is just somthing to make us more lazy so we dont have to leave our sever to get a noob to shut up :D

go into IRC chat options uncheck recive Private messages and they cant message

This is annoying because i had to port foward for this, at the same time, I ported blockland for no good reason :D And then disabled UPnP, suck that Lazy Asses who can't port!

Due that Badspot only implemented UPnP for UDP, and we are only able to use TCP, there is no other way than port forwarding manually. Also, it is a risk if we could automatically portforward due that any other person could use this to hack your server. Even though I can assure you that it is not doable on this mod.

Suggestion:
Make another 'mode' where a host can monitor their server's chat, while being on another server. Instead of Server-to-Server, Host-to-server.

You mean like each client can also do this privately? Could be interesting, but now it sounds more like IRC to me.

To open a port you need to connect to your router and open it. If it's not open, then nothing will happen...

so is this like something that lets me talk between servers, like i can go on a server and still be in my dedicated server's chat, and i can read that also?

Yes. If those servers is connected both will read and write in between each other.

Errrr can you make it Net Nanny proof or like Kid-Watch_program PRoof because some kids there want this but they got blocked can you make it not be blocked by that.?

It's really easy if you use the gui. Just open the gui(With a button you bind earlier), start the chat, choose the server you want to connect to, type in the password and connect. If that server have portforwarded port 1212 and if it also have started the chat server, it will connect successfully.
Then you do the same for the other server so it can send you the chat too.

Net Nanny is a bitch. I had to hack, and remove it from my machine. Also even had to go into the registry to eliminate any trace of Net Nanny. The thing that remained hidden in the registry which I found stopped me from using internet. Got rid of it, and now I'm free to use Face Book, Youtube, etc.
